Illustrator 山本 周司 Shuji Yamamoto
1976年三重県四日市市生まれ。
定時制高校に通いながら看板屋で働き絵の楽しさと社会を学ぶ。その後東京デザイナー学院名古屋校入学。卒業後イラストレーション制作事務所（株）Y・2入社。2000年よりフリーランス「wax wax production」として活動開始。2003年デザイン専門学校にて非常勤講師勤務。2004年渡米。ニューヨークにて語学、アートを学びながら、仕事、作品制作をつづける。多くの知識、経験、友人を得て３年半後帰国。2008年からは東京にて活動。個展や企画展を開くなど精力的に活動中。
(1976 - ) After graduating from high school, I attended the Tokyo Design College in Nagoya. Once I completed my studies at this school. I worked as an illustrator at an advertising firm known as Y2 in the Design department. In 2000, I started my own illustration and design firm known as wax wax production where I worked as a freelance artist. In 2003, I began giving lectures at a Design school in Nagoya. Then in 2004, I moved to New York where I attended the National Academy School of Fine Arts while I continued my freelance work and created new and original works of art. In the fall of 2007, I returned to Japan. I moved to Tokyo where I am currently exhibiting and producing various works of art.
